ATTENTION HIGHLANDERS: We will have a staff salsa competition during lunch this Friday. Prepare to come by the stage to try out the wonderful salsas our Highlander Staff made! We will provide all taste testers with chips and you'll get the chance to name one of our staff members' salsa as... Spiciest, Most Creative or Best Overall. Don't miss out Highlanders!
Don't forget! We have Open House this upcoming Monday from 5-7pm. We'll have a Community Wellness Fair as well so you and your families can receive additional supports and information from community organizations. We will also have a special guest, Trustee Veva Islas!

Attention Highlanders: Our staff is working hard to ensure your academic success and included in your success is attendance to class. Starting Thursday, March 15th you will need a pass to go to the bathroom, go to the nurse, go to another classroom, or to go to a class during lunchtime. All ...teachers have specific passes they can hand out and are color coded, so any student without a pass will be sent back to class. Sticky note passes will NOT be accepted. All teachers and staff will be supporting this by clearing the halls during passing period and asking you for your pass.

ATTENTION FRESHMEN: There will be a mandatory 9th Grade Parent Meeting this Thursday at 6:30pm in the Cafeteria. Parents/Guardians have been called and informed via email as well. Come and learn about the various resources we have on campus to support your needs and meet the staff who are here to ...support you! We will have tables with counselors, social emotional team, campus culture, athletics, CTE, tutorial, AP Scholars, and so much more!
There will be a taco truck and free refreshments/snacks. We will also be raffling off McLane gear! @mclanelinkcrew
Come out to our tailgate tomorrow before the game!! Tailgate starts at 3pm on the tennis courts & game is starts at 5pm. Game is BLACKOUT so make sure you wear black. See you there!
It's time for a... STATE PLAYOFF GAME! Come out and help us support our McLane Boy's Soccer team as they take on Terra Linda for the State Championship! The game is on Saturday, March 4th at 5pm! Make sure to wear black! GO HIGHLANDERS!
There will be a tailgate on the tennis ...courts tomorrow at 3pm! Free food, face painting, music, games, and free VIP entry to game with powder toss!

In honor of the last week of Black History Month we are doing a spirit week brought to you by @mclanehighbsu ! If you participate this week make sure to post it and tag Highlander Hype!

Kindness week starts tomorrow! Make sure to dress up and spread kindness all week long. We will also have lunch time activities that are sure to bring a smile to your face!

•IVY LEAGUE PROJECT• This April, 11 of our McLane students will have the opportunity to travel to the East Coast and tour the Ivy League Universities with 40 other students from the Central Valley.
