DRAMA

The Drama club is a way to express yourself and learn more about different aspects of theatre. It is a way to make friends and meet people who have similar interest as you. Theatre can also help you become a lot more confident and help with public speaking. If you are interested or have any questions talk to Mr. Spjute or follow @ mclane_theatre on Instagram.

Meeting days are the first and third Wednesday of every month either at lunch or at 2:30-3:00

Drama Club is place to learn more about and also celebrate ALL things THEATRE. That includes what happens ON stage and what happens BACK stage and what happens in the AUDIENCE. We have fun by working together to make good Drama and good Memories.

FARMS Leadership

FARMS Leadership The FARMS (Farming, Agriculture, and Resource Management for Sustainability) Leadership program introduces, trains, and recruits high school students for college and career opportunities in agriculture and environmental sciences. Through my time in FARMS, I was able to deepen my knowledge of the agriculture industry as a whole.

FCCLA

FCCLA: Family, Career and Community Leaders of America

A professional career and technical student organization that helps build leadership skills for Education pathway students and related fields.

FOLKLORICO

Folklorico dance reflects the traditions, cultures and beliefs of people in a particular region.

HIKING CLUB

We are a group dedicated to hiking, wilderness exploration and outdoor education. Hiking club meets regularly on campus and go on hiking field trips one to two times per quarter.

In previous years, we have taken trips to Yosemite National Park, Kings Canyon National Park, Pinnacles National Park, Montana De Oro State Park, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, San Joaquin River Gorge, and many other incredible locations nearby!

HOSA

HOSA – Health Occupations Students of America

Medical related organization with state and national HOSA affiliation. Our goal is to provide leadership opportunities for students to contribute to the healthcare community while gaining knowledge and experience necessary to become a productive member of society.

HOSA membership is not limited to Medical Academy students. Any student who is interested in healthcare and giving back to the community may join.

HMONG DANCE

Description: To educate and keep our native dance roots alive through solo digital performances for community members to see what McLane has to offer.
