Attendance

 

Daily attendance and punctuality to all classes play a vital role on student’s academic success. Students who are frequently absent/tardy may be risking their ability to graduate on time. We ask of all parents and guardians to encourage their child/children to attend every class and be punctual on a daily basis.

Reporting/Clearing Absences

Doctor Notes/Parent Call-In

A Doctor’s Note or guardian phone call is required to clear or excuse absences.  We recommend bringing a note or calling the Attendance Office on the day of the absence. The Attendance Office is open Monday – Friday from 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.  Attendance voice mail system is set to use for your convenience.

Notify Attendance Clerks, and student must check-in at Attendance Window next to registration office to get pass to class.

Checking Out Early

Students leaving campus or getting picked up early must be checked out in person by a parent or guardian.  E-CARD VERIFICATION AND ID WILL BE REQUIRED UPON PICK UP. 

F.U.S.D ParentSquare

Fresno Unified School District utilizes automated calls by ParentSquare, which will inform parents/guardians of most recent period or full day absences. Upon receiving the automated message, call the school to clear absence(s). Please note Attendance Clerks cannot clear Tardies.
