College Options

Do you dream of going away to college? Or, would you rather stay close to home? You may have a lot of questions about which college is best for you, and that’s OK. It’s a big decision.

Community College

All students are eligible to attend community college as long as they graduate with a high school diploma or are 18 years old.
Students will complete application, orientation, advising, and registration at Hoover with the help of Counselors and Community College outreach teams.
Our local campuses include Fresno City College, Clovis Community College, Reedley College, and Madera College.

In the California State University (CSU) system, there are 23 campuses and in the University of California (UC) system, there are 9 undergraduate campuses. Remember, to be minimally eligible, you must complete the A-G Requirements.

CSU/UC

Students must meet minimum GPA requirements (2.5 for CSU and 3.0 for UC, 2.0 for Fresno State).
Students must meet all A-G requirements
Applications for all UC campuses are now open, but students may not submit until November 1.
CSU applications can be submitted starting October 1.
