Financial Aid: FAFSA/Dream Act

Create an FSAID– This serves as login and digital signature for current and future FAFSA applications. Must be done by parent and student. If you have older siblings who have submitted an application for financial aid, your parents may have already created an FSAID account. 

FAFSA Application - Application opens Oct 2 through March 2!

DREAM Act Application– For students who are undocumented and unable to file a FAFSA application.

Dream Act Students 

If you are undocumented, live in California, and want to go to college, you can still get your tuition & fees reduced and receive state based financial aid by meeting the eligibility requirements. If you are considered a “non-resident” student in CA looking to go to college or access higher education, you will pay much higher tuition fees than resident students. However, California has a set of laws that can provide you with in-state tuition and state-based financial aid, if you meet the eligibility requirements.

Create CSAC Account​– To be completed at least seven days after submitting FAFSA form. This is for financial aid from the state of California.

Monitor all of your personal email accounts to ensure you receive any communication sent by FAFSA or CSAC.

• Claim funds with CalKids!
