Link Crew and 9th Grade Success
9th Grade Success Program
The 9th Grade Success Program is dedicated to helping freshmen achieve academic excellence and thrive during their first year of high school. Our primary goal is for 64% of freshmen to finish the school year with a GPA of 2.5 or better, setting them on the path for future success. We aim to meet the B.A.G. (Behavior, Attendance, and Grades) expectations for all students, which includes maintaining a 90% or higher attendance rate, having zero suspensions, and achieving a GPA of 2.5 or better.
Through targeted support, mentorship through the Link Crew program, and resources, we are committed to ensuring every 9th grader has the opportunity to succeed academically and develop the habits necessary for long-term success.
Link Crew Program
Link Crew plays a vital role in supporting the 9th Grade Success Program by helping freshmen transition smoothly into high school, especially through Summer Bridge. Summer Bridge is our campus' freshman orientation program that provides freshmen with a campus tour, insight into being a high schooler, overview of resources and fun activities. As a peer mentorship program, Link Crew pairs upperclassmen leaders with incoming 9th graders to provide guidance, encouragement, and academic support. Our Link Leaders help freshmen navigate the challenges of high school life, stay on track with their B.A.G. (Behavior, Attendance, and Grades) expectations, and reach the goal of a 2.5 or better GPA.
Through campus events, check-ins, and personalized support, Link Crew is committed to creating a welcoming environment where every freshman can thrive academically, culturally and socially, ensuring a strong start to their high school journey.
