All California State Universities (CSU) & Universities of California (UC) A-G Requirements
If you are planning on attending a 4 year college, you will have to complete the following classes with a “C” or better by the end of your senior year. These classes are referred to as the a-g requirements.
The A-G College Entrance Requirements are a sequence of high school courses that students must complete (with a grade of C or better) to be minimally eligible for admission to the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU). Students are highly encouraged to go beyond the minimum requirements to be a more competitive applicant.
The following chart summarizes the A-G College Entrance Requirements:

- Any courses taken in excess of the minimum required in any subject area may count toward the fulfillment of the College Preparatory Elective requirement
